Nokia 500 Smartphone First Look & Features
Nokia has announced a new series smartphone, named as Nokia 500. The phone resembles closely to the Nokia X series phones. Nokia 500 looks almost same as Nokia X6, although there are quite a few differences between the two. So lets see the main features of Nokia 500 smartphone,
- A 5MP camera with full focus and a digital zoom of 4x. Although there is no flash for the 5MP camera.
- Also supports image editing and geo tagging.
- High definition video recording up to 640 x 480 pixels with a digital zoom up to 2x.
- Internal memory of 2GB and expandable memory up to 32GB.
- A 3.2 inch TFT display of 640 x 360 pixels capacitive touch screen. The screen supports 16 million colors.
- Supports gravity sensors, accelerometers, ambient light sensors & proximity sensors.
- Connectivity options like Bluetooth, high speed microUSB connector, 2mm charger connector, 3.5mm audio connector.
- Supports 3G networks like WCDMA, HSDPA and 2G networks like GSM, GPRS & EDGE.
- Symbian Anna operating system runs on the processor.
- Internet options like e-mail, messaging, internet browsing, PUSH mail services, RSS reader, Social networking and many other built in apps for internet support.
- Navigation support through integrated GPS, a-GPS, digital compass, Ovi maps etc.
- Also supports Wi-Fi for internet connectivity.
