Nokia 2690 – A Phone Worth Buying

Recently when I wanted to buy a basic model and I went to one of the mobile shop, I had some names in my mind like Nokia 1661, Nokia 1662, Nokia 5030 etc but when the shop keeper showed me the new Nokia 2690 I was dumb struck.
The reason for this is , Nokia 2690 has got awesome features like a 1.3MP (VGA) camera, MP3 player, expandable memory up to 8 GB. And the most important thing was its price, it would cost you something less than Rs.2600.
So I bought it without thinking a second. The phone has got hell lot of features, a good display, good battery back up, handling is easy. Nokia 2690 is marketed under the classic series of Nokia. Nokia 2690 can be said as ” one step down to Nokia 2700 Classic ” . It also has FM radio with RDS and a 3.5 mm AV connector, so you can use your own earphone too!!
So if you too have your budget something near to Rs.2500 then I suggest buying the new Nokia 2690 mobile phone. Check out the detailed features of this phone here.

Indian Telecom Companies Depend on China

Recently there was a controversy whose subject was to ban chinese telecom equipment supply companies like Huawei, ZTE Corporation, Mobi Antenna Technologies, Sunsea Telecommunications and Leoch Battery Co from supplying equipments to Indian mobile operators. But it is no so easy since most of the CDMA operators in India like TTSL which includes Tata Indicom, Virgin mobile etc have already deployed their equipments.
More over when 3G network starts in India the mobile operators like Tata, reliance have to install new equipments. But as we all know chinese equipments are quite cheaper wne compared to other imported equipments.
SO recently the TATA’s wrote a letter to the Indian government saying Chinese equipments should not be banned else their 45 million subscribers will lose the confidence over the company. Its left to the government to decide the fate of these Chinese equipment manufacturers as well as the CDMA operators in India.
